“Path of Exile 2” just hit Early Access a few hours ago, and we’re already seeing the first server maintenance and a small patch drop. The “Path of Exile 2 Update 1.000.006” is now live and ready for download. Grinding Gear Games rolled out this update specifically for the console version.
As for Steam, there’s also a notice about a patch, but no real details are provided. The only info is that the following files were modified:
- Modified – PathOfExileSteam.exe
- Modified – PathOfExile_x64Steam.exe

- We have revised our Terms of Use due to the upcoming Early Access of Path of Exile 2.
- Simplified the process for linking accounts when you launch the game on a new platform.
- Fixed a bug where changing your Status Message could sometimes fail to save.
As you can see, Grinding Gear Games is working hard to give you the best gaming experience possible! No doubt there will be more updates soon, since there’s still a lot to iron out, especially on the PS5.
