The developers at Render Cube have rolled out a new patch on the test servers for Medieval Dynasty! Update 2.2.0.6 is live and ready for download and installation.
This patch aims to fix some of the issues from the previous version, and now you can check out these fixes in the test branch.
If you’ve never tried playing on a test server, you can do it through your Steam library. Just go to Properties, then Betas, and select “Public_testing.”
But let’s get to the point—what bugs does Update 2.2.0.6 fix? And are there any improvements?

Fixed:
- Clients occasionally being unable to pick up sticks.
- Missing greetings and farewells for the barber.
- No option to exit the barber’s dialogue via hotkey.
- Incorrect events showing on the Valley map.
- Births of children not displaying for clients in the village journal.
- Old village journal entries from the previous season mixing with new ones.
- Animal age not appearing in death entries in the village journal.
- Villager profession missing in death entries in the village journal.
- Incorrect translation of animal gender in the village journal.
- Wrong info in the village journal caused by players buying animals.
- Missing current season icon in the field management tab while mounted.
- Occasional duplication of chat messages.
- Client chat messages sometimes showing a host crown icon.
- Lowered chances of fleeing animals getting stuck.
- Dead bandits restocking their inventory upon game reload.
- Bandits speaking to animals as if they were human.
- Heat penalty incorrectly applied to Excellent Gloves.

Updated:
- Players can now rearrange items in the people’s demand control tab.
- New icon for the people’s demand control tab.
- Chat can be enabled while mounted by using the down arrow on the controller.
- QoL: The first empty slot is now automatically selected when buying and assigning animals to buildings.
- Improved window animation flow in the UI after a child is born.
- Adjusted projectile behavior for more realistic bouncing and impaling.
- Bandits now patrol and roam their surroundings.
- Bandits with ranged weapons are more likely to guard their position.
- Combat state between players has been disabled.
- Tech Adjustments:
- Higher tech gain: Mushrooms, Potion of Healing II, Potion of Health.
- Lower tech gain: Broadleaf Plantain, Potion of Satiety, Potion of Instant Cure, Meat.
- Experience Adjustments:
- Higher EXP gain: Broadleaf Plantain, Chicory, Daisy, Dandelion, Deadly Nightshade, Henbane, Thistle, Mushrooms, Potion of Healing II, Potion of Health.
- Lower EXP gain: Potion of Healing I, Potion of Stamina, Potion of Saturation, Potion of Instant Cure, Meat.
- Production Adjustments:
- Higher production: Potion of Instant Healing I, Potion of Healing I, Potion of Satiety, Potion of Saturation, Potion of Instant Cure, Potion of Cure, Meat, Dried Meat, Feathers (Goosehouse), Copper Ore (Excavation Shed).
- Lower production: Daisy, Dandelion, Deadly Nightshade, Henbane, Thistle, Mushrooms, Potion of Instant Healing II, Potion of Healing II, Potion of Health, Potion of Stamina, Roach.
- Reduced extraction rate for battleaxes.
- Weight Adjustments:
- Higher weight: Cherry Wine, Pear Wine, Plum Wine.
- Wines, juices, and beers no longer provide food.
- Apple Wine and Wheat Beer now grant more health.
- Extended effect duration for Soured Milk, Roasted Meat, and Fish Meat.
- Soured Milk provides more water.
- Price Adjustments:
- Lower price: Meat, Salted Meat, Roasted Meat.
- Higher price: Gander.
- Geese now leave fewer feathers but produce more eggs in the Goosehouse.
- Adult geese consume more food.
- Bandit camps have been updated.
- Network optimizations for all loose items on the map.
- Chinese language support added.
