The developers at Hexworks have released Update 1.058 for Lords of the Fallen to coincide with Thanksgiving. This update is also known as Patch v1.6.49.
Even though it might look like a small patch at first glance, it includes some important changes. For instance, there are adjustments to the Starting Classes and sound effects. The new Lords of the Fallen Update 1.058 is now live and has been available for download since yesterday.
Lords of the Fallen Update 1.058 Changelog
Exiled Stalker Starting Class Overhaul
The Exiled Stalker’s been reworked to give players a true “lightweight” option when picking their starting class. We noticed that while heavier classes like the Udirangr Warwolf and Hallowed Knight dominate the tanky side of gameplay, players who wanted a faster, more agile playstyle didn’t have much choice. Now, the Exiled Stalker moves quicker and feels sharper, delivering the nimble combat style it was always meant to embody.
Parry Sound Upgrade
You asked, we listened! Parrying now sounds way more satisfying. We’ve updated the parry feedback with crisper, more impactful audio cues, so landing that perfect parry feels just as good as it looks.
Auto Vigor Pickup
Say goodbye to manually grabbing vigor with your lamp after every fight. It’s now automatic! This tweak, heavily requested by the community, keeps the gameplay flow smooth and ensures you don’t accidentally leave behind hard-earned vigor. More time fighting, less time lamp-dancing.
Byron’s Questline Tweaks
We’ve adjusted Byron’s optional quest to make Winterberry easier to find, preventing players from missing out on completing the storyline. No more unintentional quest fails—go get that Winterberry!
Fixed the Unbridled Focus Pendant
The Unbridled Focus pendant (that handy trinket reducing Channeling and Aura ability costs) is finally working as it should. Shoutout to Syren Kindra, one of our awesome lampbearers, for helping us squash this bug!
Hushed Saint Boss Fight Changes
The Hushed Saint boss fight got an update! The encounter now leans more into melee combat, with less reliance on mounted combat mechanics. It’s still as challenging as ever, but the changes aim to make the fight more dynamic and satisfying for everyone.
Poison Buildup Bug Fixed
We squashed a small bug affecting poison buildup. Now, it works just like it’s supposed to.
The devs have been hard at work, bringing some exciting changes to the game, and we can’t wait to see what’s next! Stay tuned—whenever there’s news, we’ll be the first to keep you updated!/p>
