The developers at Papergames announced the “Infinity Nikki Update 1.1” a few days ago, and now the patch notes are here.
The major update, titled “Shooting Star Season“, is set to roll out for download today, December 30, 2024. Players on PlayStation 5 can expect to download version 1.001.001.
To bring the new content into the game, not only will the client patch download be necessary, but there will also be server downtime:
According to Papergames, the Infinity Nikki servers will go offline starting at 12:50 AM (UTC-7)/2:00 AM ET/11:00 PM PT/3:00 PM HKT on December 29, 2024. During this time, the game will be inaccessible. The studio notes that the maintenance schedule may be adjusted based on actual conditions.

Events Ending as Shooting Star Season Begins
The following limited-time events will conclude on December 29 at 12:49 AM (UTC-7):
- Resonance Events: “Croaker’s Whisper” and “Bubbling Affections.” Ensure you use your limited-time Revelation Crystals and claim rewards from Deep Echoes before the deadline.
- Other Events: “Wishfield Journal,” “Your Companion’s Day Invitation!” and “Companion’s Day Gifts.”
- Store Items: The outfits Timeless Echo, Unseen Entity, and Woolfruit Siesta will no longer be available in the store after this time.
