There had been rumors, speculation and leaks about the new Call of Duty for a long time. No wonder, after all it had been known for some time that another title in the series was to be released this year, but there was hardly any official information. In the past few weeks, however, there have been new hints and indications that we should expect a reveal of the game very soon. After the release date of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was announced on November 10th, it was now announced when the title will actually be presented to us in more detail.
Reveal with a comeback
The Reveal of Modern Warfare 3 is explicitly scheduled to take place on August 17th. In addition to the date of the unveiling itself, the comeback of an antagonist also caused a stir. Finally, the reveal teaser tells us that Makarov will celebrate his return. Makarov appeared as an antagonist in the original MW trilogy, but the former villain was also involved at the end of last year’s CoD.
