There’s news today from the devs at Arrowhead Game Studios! Their flagship game, Helldivers 2, just got the update 1.002.003, bringing some tweaks and fixes along with it.
The main focus of today’s patch is to address the game’s connection and matchmaking issues. Check out the full and official patch notes below!

Fixes
Matchmaking & Connection Issues:
- Matchmaking improvements to reduce wait times.
- Addressed an issue which forced disconnections in specific gameplay conditions during Illuminate missions
Crash Fixes and Soft-locks:
- Fix for a 100% crash affecting a subset of players within range of Illuminate towers during Ion Storms
Miscellaneous fixes
- Fix Siege Ready armor passive not affecting ammo pools on initial dives when joining an ongoing mission.
As you can see, the devs are staying on top of things to keep improving the game. Even though the Helldivers 2 update might not seem like much at first glance, it’s another step in the right direction.
